Please note - some shells have been naturally polished to have a shiny finish.
* Preparing your new shells.
- Boil shells in water (let them cool down) before dunking them in marine salt water and placing them into the tank.
Place opening side up to encourage acceptance by your Hermit Crabs.
Measuring Shells Correctly
Always measure the inside of the shell lengthways (as pictured) using a pair of digital calipers or a ruler. Do not include the sides or outer edges of the shell in your measurements.
