Welcome to The Happy Hermie, a small family-owned business situated in country Victoria, Australia. The establishment is under the ownership of Mum of two, Tiffany, a proficient hermit crab owner, rescuer, and captive breeder.

Commencing operations in late 2022, Tiffany is dedicated to modernizing hermit crab care by imparting knowledge to owners nationwide regarding the proper maintenance and welfare of these remarkable creatures.

As a dedicated and knowledgeable hermit crab owner for several years, Tiffany specializes in hermit crab nutrition, captive breeding, and rescue efforts, along with an educational background in animal studies, veterinary nursing, and cookery.

At The Happy Hermie, our daily commitment revolves around fostering a healthy environment for Australia's captive hermit crabs. We achieve this by offering top-tier artisanal handmade foods, safe and stimulating decorations, and essential supplies to the market.

Tiffany, a certified breeder and co-creator of Australian Hermit Crab Breeders, began her breeding endeavors in late 2022. Since then, she has successfully hand-raised seven spawns to land and currently owns over 230 captive-bred hermit crabs, all of which she has nurtured from birth.
