PUTTING AN END TO THE WILD CAPTURE OF Australian Hermit Crabs through captive breeding!
Bred in Captivity
Our baby hermit crabs are born and raised entirely in captivity, never experiencing the stress of being taken from the wild or the harm of abuse or neglect. From day one, they’re hand-raised with love, care, and dedicated attention. Captive-bred hermit crabs enjoy healthier lives and often live longer than their wild-caught counterparts.
Healthy Start To Life
From the moment they first set foot on land, our babies have enjoyed a healthy, fully balanced diet—never processed or unhealthy foods—and have been kept in optimal conditions to support growth and maintain healthy gills. Unlike many pet store hermit crabs, they have never endured the stressful environments that can compromise their health.
Ready To Go
All of our captive-bred babies spend their first 12 months in a communal tank with other captive-bred crabs of various ages, helping them develop strong social skills. After their first year, they’re ready to move on to their new forever homes. Because captive breeding requires extensive time, effort, and care, our babies come with a price that reflects their value.
